My Journey
From frontend development to enterprise architecture through continuous learning, practical problem-solving, and real-world engineering experience.
My journey has grown through years of frontend engineering, solving real-world challenges, and working across enterprise platforms. From early web development to scalable frontend architecture, every project and team experience has helped shape the way I approach modern engineering, collaboration, and long-term product development.
2008
Entering the Industry
I started my professional journey working with the Government of West Bengal as a Management Information Systems Manager. During this phase, I worked on database management, SQL Server administration, LAN and WAN configuration, system maintenance, and technical operations across multiple district teams.
Those early years helped me understand system reliability, technical operations, infrastructure support, and the importance of solving practical business problems using technology.
2011
Expanding into Enterprise
At Newland Agro Industries Limited, I worked as Software Development Manager, handling technical support, database administration, SQL Server management, remote system maintenance, and enterprise application support.
This phase gave me deeper exposure to enterprise environments, infrastructure operations, technical troubleshooting, reporting systems, and real-world software workflows that supported business operations at scale.
2014
Entering Development
My transition into frontend development started at Suhanasoftech Pvt Ltd, where I worked on frontend applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, Core PHP, and Bootstrap.
This was the phase where I became deeply interested in frontend engineering, responsive design, user interfaces, and modern web application development.
2015
Web Application Development
At Pecon Software Limited, I worked on real-time web applications, frontend implementation, payment gateway integration, PHP and MySQL development, and AJAX-based applications.
I gained practical experience building business applications, supporting production systems, integrating backend services, and improving frontend usability across live web platforms.
2016
UI/UX & Frontend Engineering
At SS Leon Hightech Private Limited, I worked as a UI/UX Designer and Front-End Developer building responsive business applications using ReactJS, Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
Alongside frontend development, I also worked on branding assets, UI design systems, CMS maintenance, and collaborative product delivery. This role helped strengthen both my engineering skills and creative thinking around user experience and interface design.
2017
Enterprise Frontend Delivery
Joining IBM became a major turning point in my career. I worked on enterprise e-commerce and logistics platforms including Tiffany & Co. and My Damco applications.
My work included building reusable ReactJS components, implementing semantic HTML5, improving accessibility standards, integrating Adobe Analytics, Akamai caching, Azure Cloud workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise payment integrations including Apple Pay, WeChat Pay, and PayPal.
I also contributed to the My Damco logistics platform using ReactJS, JavaScript, CSS, and Java-based backend ecosystems supporting scalable logistics and supply chain operations.
2020
Scaling Enterprise Applications
As enterprise frontend applications became more complex, my focus gradually moved towards scalable architecture, reusable engineering systems, frontend optimisation, and maintainable frontend ecosystems.
This phase significantly improved my understanding of enterprise-scale frontend delivery, frontend governance, reusable UI systems, API-driven architecture, and engineering collaboration across distributed teams.
2022
Frontend Leadership
At Accenture, my role evolved further into frontend architecture and engineering leadership. I worked on scalable banking and enterprise platforms using ReactJS, Vue.js, TypeScript, Nx Monorepo, Module Federation, reusable design systems, and micro-frontend architecture strategies.
I led frontend engineering teams, improved development workflows, introduced reusable engineering standards, optimised application performance, and worked closely with enterprise stakeholders on scalable frontend solutions.
2025
Enterprise Leadership
At NatWest Group, I moved into enterprise frontend architecture leadership, focusing on scalable banking platforms and modern frontend ecosystems.
My work includes scalable ReactJS architecture, micro-frontend implementation, Nx Monorepo strategies, reusable component systems, frontend governance, and frontend performance optimisation designed for large enterprise applications and long-term engineering scalability.
I also contribute to architecture planning, frontend modernisation initiatives, engineering collaboration, mentoring, and scalable frontend development standards across enterprise platforms.
2026
Continuing Enterprise Growth
Today, at NatWest Group, I work as Associate Vice President leading frontend architecture initiatives for enterprise-scale banking platforms.
My work includes scalable ReactJS architecture, micro-frontend implementation, Nx Monorepo strategies, reusable component systems, frontend governance, and frontend performance optimisation designed for large enterprise applications and long-term engineering scalability.
I also contribute to architecture planning, frontend modernisation initiatives, engineering collaboration, mentoring, and scalable frontend development standards across enterprise platforms.
