About Me
I’m Bikas Chandra Mahata, a Frontend Architect with 18+ years of experience building scalable enterprise applications across banking and enterprise technology domains.
Over the years, I have worked across banking, enterprise technology, and large-scale digital platforms where frontend applications need to remain reliable, maintainable, and scalable as products and engineering teams continue evolving.
My expertise includes ReactJS, TypeScript, micro-frontend architecture, frontend performance optimisation, and scalable UI systems. Over the years, I’ve led frontend modernisation initiatives, designed reusable component platforms, and contributed to enterprise-scale architecture focused on maintainability, scalability, and long-term product growth.

Throughout my career, I have contributed to frontend modernisation initiatives, scalable UI platforms, micro-frontend architecture, reusable component systems, and enterprise frontend engineering practices.
I currently work as Assistant Vice President leading frontend engineering initiatives focused on scalable architecture and modern frontend systems.
Previously, I worked with organisations including Accenture and IBM, contributing to enterprise applications, payment systems, frontend transformation programmes, and scalable engineering platforms used across large business environments.

Beyond Engineering
Alongside technology, I also have a background in fine arts and painting through a diploma from Rabindra Bharati University.
My interest in visual composition, balance, colour, and creative thinking influences the way I approach frontend engineering, user experience, interface structure, and digital product design.
I believe strong frontend systems should not only perform well technically but also provide thoughtful and intuitive user experiences.
Mentoring & Workshops
Over the years, I have actively mentored frontend developers and engineering teams through technical discussions, frontend workshops, architecture reviews, and practical learning sessions.
I regularly share knowledge around ReactJS, TypeScript, frontend architecture, performance optimisation, and scalable engineering practices based on real enterprise experience.
Helping developers build maintainable frontend systems and improve engineering confidence remains an important part of my professional journey.
